reminiscent green
This footage was taken from inside looking out through our marked studio window. The music being played in our studio is taken from our new album ‘reminiscence’, hopefully due out early this year on Slow Flow Rec. The other incidental sounds, or perhaps they could be thought of as marks on the music, are heard as if inside, although some of these sounds origin however, are not.
‘reminiscent green’ explores a relationship created from two locations, the inside and the outside, articulated through what we see and what we hear. In this short work, we can neither hear what we see, or see what we hear, yet we can imagine.

Visited some famous London water today with Peter Cusack and friends to take some field recordings.
The day was grey, the tide was out, and the area was swamped in mist. This footage is inspired no doubt by Roni Horn’s recent exhibition nearby at the Tate Modern, which has changed our perception of this water for good. It’s different now, holding many stories.
morning
This is the first entry of many, exploring minimal movement through audio and visual means. These posts will be temporarily available on our facebook page before being eventually available only through moize.net. Each audio/video entry will be accompanied with a short piece of writing found under ‘continue’. This writing will sometimes be our thoughts, sometimes more abstract, sometimes a bit of both.
I woke early this morning, hoping for a bright day in London, and it wasn’t all that bad. I shot this little video with blurry eyes, and while watching it back made some music.
