We will be playing as part of the World Listening Day Preview held at Cafe Oto, FRIDAY 16th July, exploring the sounds of East Londons Soundscape, along with many other artists.

“Fruit for the Apocalypse invite you to participate in a preview of East London Soundscapes at Cafe Oto. East London Soundscapes has been created for the first World Listening Day, which happens in a secret location on Sunday, July 18, 2010. The purposes of World Listening Day are to celebrate the practice of listening as it relates to the world around us, environmental awareness, and acoustic ecology to raise awareness about issues related to the World Soundscape Project, World Listening Project, World Forum for Acoustic Ecology, and individual and group efforts to creatively explore phonography.”

Moize.net will undergo a dramatic redesign in the coming weeks, with also the launch of Lucia’s own new personal website.

Currently moize.net is designed in such a way that doesn’t function correctly for the way we work, trying to be too many things and really failing to do any of them well. Subsequently it doesn’t get updated nearly as much as it should be.
The plan is to design both moize.net and luciahchung.com in a similar way concentrating them more as portfolios than blogs. It seems as much as we try we just don’t seem to be the blogging type.
I hope and aim to get them both up and running nearing the end of June and am very much looking forward to launching the new improved design.

After a many long discussions, myself and Lucia have decided to go ahead with our new exciting project which will be our new small label called threeplusone. This new label will be another place for us to realize our work and also to collaborate with other sound artists in releasing works together.
