After a many long discussions, myself and Lucia have decided to go ahead with our new exciting project which will be our new small label called threeplusone. This new label will be another place for us to realize our work and also to collaborate with other sound artists in releasing works together.

We will use threeplusone to explore sound installation and sound composition and the blur between, as the sound installation work influences our composition, our composition will in turn influence our installation work. As some work is seemingly better suited to a installation environment and others to the home listening environment, we want to experiment with how these two environments translate to each other or how they cross over.

We will endeavour to explore various aspects of sound but feel our enjoyment of minimal sound, resonance, phonography and sound with visual interplay will play strong roles in our work. We are both very excited as to what new projects, collaborations and ventures we have yet to come, and with a few projects already in the making, this first year of threeplusone will certainly be one to enjoy with us.
